New handheld POS from DT Research to offer MSR, barcode scanner and RFID reader functions

DT Research Industries was pleased to announce the latest addition in its line of handheld POS products. The release of the WebDT410 and WebDT415 aims to provide an efficient and faster form of customer service. These handheld devices are designed for various applications such as ticket scanning, order processing, acceptance of payments and inventory management. The products feature a 3.5” resistive touch and a display screen that can be clearly viewed outdoors. It is also considered to be the first in its line of products to have an all included MSR, RFID reader and barcode scanner. The handhelds are great for outdoor use with its unique design and IP54 rating when it comes to liquid and dust resistance. The WebDT410 has a 3.5 inch LCD screen with MSR and optional RFID reader. On the other hand the WebDT415 is regarded as the enhanced version with a 3.5 inch high resolution, outdoor viewable LCD display. Aside from its MSR and 2D barcode scanner, RFID reader is optional too.

It is believed that several industries such as entertainment, retail, hospitality and warehousing will find these devices very helpful and it will greatly improve the quality of service that is given to customers.
